This actually looks fun to try. Here's an modification to the build (all ele), put all your left over points in to engery and fire, the rest in to water magic. Have the collector's or green fire wand + foci.

Flare | Arcane Echo | Water Trident | Mark of Rodgort | Fire Attunement | Conjure Flame | RezSignet | Aura of Restoration

Conjure Flame -> Aura > Arcane Echo -> Flare -> Mark of Rodgor -> Flare, Flare (arcane) -> Water Trident

Pound away with Flare, Arcane Echo (Flare), and Water Trident. With Aura of Restoration should be healing nicely too (unless you get enchanments striped). but with the lost cost of most of the spells.

Reason for water trident is there will be a time flare is recharging for a few seconds and and it's not too much on damage but will knock down moving targets and casts fast and only cost 5 engery too.

If you're going to Arcane Echo something, you might as well Echo Mending. It is THE skill to have. The ONLY skill anyone needs on their skillbar. Rebirth + Mending is the best combo you will ever discover. Goddamn, going to use Rebirth on that dead monk right there.

best combo ever - echo, then arcane echo then mending. and since you only have two pips you might have to either wait around for like 10 minutes, or you can have a necro use blood ritual on you. anyway then cast mending again on yourself just incase it was removed, and then start rebirthing that monk. it hasnt failed yet

I was going for the all flare so you will have a constant stream of attacks and it was for an E/Me Build.

Our guild tested this build sometime ago after I saw it on another post in Droknars Arena. It doesnt work. The aftercast is way too long to make you see any real speed increases in spamming flare. We just wanted to test out just basic spam with 4 x me/e with 12 fastcast and 12 fire (some inspiration for a heal if damage was spread around). 4 of us spamming flare on a mesmer (their only character capable of heals was a r/mo and their setup with 2 warriros quite clearly indicated they werent gonna be using wards/protection on the mesmer), he was always within range and it took us like 20-30 secs to kill him, he must have used 1 heal in that time. If your going all-out damage theres much better builds.

It doesnt work with 4 of you. Try it with 8. Amazingly, its twice as much damage!, so yes, it makes a difference. 20-30 seconds isnt right, he must have been healed from other sources. 4x40 = 160damage. It would have taken about 5s with him healing quite a lot.

yes, you can also use mark of anti-burning which sets them on ... cold? for 3 seconds each time they get hit by cold damage. great idea.

the DPS increase from using ice spear almost cover the burning, and doesnt require the inclusion of an expensive easilly removeable hex.
